Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Zemew.com is a curated tech, gaming, and creativity hub. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Basic server logs. Like most websites, our host may record IP address, browser type, pages visited, and request time for security and troubleshooting.
  • Search engine analytics. If enabled, tools such as Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools may provide aggregated traffic data. We do not sell personal data.
  • Third-party links. Wire articles, events, and resources often link to external sites (YouTube, news sites, event pages, etc.). Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Cookies

Zemew.com does not require an account to browse. Some embedded or linked third-party content may set cookies when you visit those services directly.

Community accounts

Forum accounts and profiles are handled on zemewforum.com, which has its own privacy terms.

Children

Zemew is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy at any time as the site evolves. When a new issue requires a change, reasonable time is allowed to determine and implement an appropriate update. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Community Guidelines

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Introduction

Community is at the heart of Zemew. Whether you are discussing games on the forum, sharing a LAN event, or reading Wire articles, we want everyone to feel welcome and safe. These guidelines set expectations for behavior on zemewforum.com and other Zemew community spaces.

They are written to balance open conversation with community safety. When we talk about harm, we mean conduct that can cause physical, emotional, social, or financial damage to members or to the public. These rules apply to posts, replies, profiles, usernames, tags, links, and any other content you share.

When a guideline is violated, we may remove content, restrict features, warn an account, or suspend it. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban. These guidelines are living documents and may be updated at any time. When a new issue requires a change, reasonable time is allowed to determine and implement an appropriate update; material changes may require you to accept an updated policy before using the forum again.

Our structure follows the same broad categories used by major community platforms such as Twitch Community Guidelines, adapted for the Zemew network.

Enforcement

Moderators and administrators review reports and take action when content or behavior breaks these guidelines. Report problems using forum tools or contact us through the Contact tab. Do not harass people for reporting concerns or for moderator decisions.

Safety

Self-harm and dangerous behavior

You may discuss mental health struggles supportively, but do not encourage, glorify, or instruct self-harm or suicide. Do not post content that could reasonably cause physical injury to yourself or others, including dangerous stunts presented as entertainment.

Violence and threats

Threats of violence, wishes of harm, and encouragement of physical attacks are not allowed. Glorifying real-world violence is prohibited.

Terrorism and violent extremism

Content that promotes, supports, or celebrates terrorism or violent extremism is prohibited.

Sexual violence

Content that promotes or threatens sexual violence is prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Youth safety

Content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited. Zemew services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Off-platform conduct

Behavior that occurs outside Zemew may still be enforced when it creates a serious safety risk to our community—for example, credible threats, stalking, or abuse directed at other members.

Sharing private information

Do not share someone else’s private personal information (such as home address, phone number, financial details, or non-public identity documents) without their consent. This includes “doxxing” and similar harassment.

Civility and respect

Hateful conduct

We do not allow harassment or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, veteran status, age, or other protected characteristics.

Harassment

Personal attacks, bullying, brigading, and sustained targeted abuse are not allowed. Debate ideas, not people.

Sexual harassment

Unwanted sexual comments, advances, objectification, or sharing of non-consensual intimate material is prohibited.

Illegal activity

Breaking the law

Do not use Zemew to promote, coordinate, or solicit illegal activity. You are responsible for following applicable local, national, and international laws.

Intellectual property

Only share content you have the right to share. Do not post pirated software, stolen assets, or other material that infringes copyright or trademark rights.

Sensitive content

Graphic violence and gore

Do not post content focused on extreme gore, gratuitous violence, or material intended primarily to shock or disturb.

Sexual content

Pornography and sexually explicit material are not allowed in Zemew community spaces.

Adult nudity

Depictions of real or fictional nudity intended to arouse or that are otherwise sexually explicit are prohibited in posts, avatars, and profile content.

Usernames, tags, and labels

Choose usernames, tags, and topic labels that follow these guidelines. Misleading or offensive names may be changed or removed. Tag discussions accurately so others know what to expect.

Prohibited topics in listings

Game server listings, LAN party posts, and resource links must not primarily promote cheating, stolen accounts, illegal gambling, or other policy violations.

Authenticity

Impersonation

Do not impersonate other members, Zemew staff, companies, or public figures in a way that is misleading or harmful.

Spam, scams, and malicious conduct

Spam, phishing, malware links, fake giveaways, and schemes intended to deceive or harm others are prohibited.

Enforcement evasion

Do not create alternate accounts to bypass suspensions or bans. Do not help suspended users evade enforcement.

Harmful misinformation

Do not persistently spread harmful misinformation that could lead to serious physical harm or public safety risks.

Accurate labeling

Label your posts honestly. Use the correct tags and categories so discussions are easy to find and appropriate for their audience.
